It often proved difficult to understand the person taking room service orders, and they should probably find someone with a higher level of English comprehension and communication. The ones who were good were really good, and the ones who were not probably should be replaced because the Marriott is the most expensive hotel in Guyana and should demonstrate higher standards. I used the coffee supplies in the room, but they would never have been replaced unless I specifically asked, and then I might get replacements on half of the supplies, not necessarily all that were needed. My stay at the Guyana Marriott Hotel Georgetown was an overall wonderful experience.

Guyana Marriott Hotel Georgetown is a smoke-free property. The crisp pool water worked beautiful with the tropical winds, and the hot tub, adjacent turned out to be popular as well. Guests arriving after hours will have to wait until the next morning to check in. You had to ask a lot for a lot of things that should just be obvious. There is no doubt that this is the best hotel in Georgetown. Guests arriving late won't be able to check in until the next morning.
If I had many other options, I likely would not have continued to eat at the property for the prices charged. Event facilities measuring 89534 square feet 8321 square meters include conference space. That will cause the physical click to be disconnected from 'clickEvent' resulting in pop-up blocker issues. The front desk offered particularly good service, though they were very busy, and our chambermaid was lovely. This is a pretty new Marriott and so everything is fresh and new. For those with Marriott status, access will be afforded to the executive club, which has a particularly nice terrace of which we took advantage nightly. We were told after an hour that one of the starters was not available.

My partner's main course was served before the starter was finished and some time afterwards my main course arrived but was not as ordered. With a glass of 15-year old rum, the ocean breeze, live music, and a gorgeous view, who could ask for more? They responded nicely when asked, but for those trying to get breakfast and get out in the morning, it wound up being kind of a hassle.
For example, I used the two glasses in my room day one and two, but they did not ever get replaced until day nine, upon departure. The only reason for the four star rating was because of the restaurant. We tended to look at the ocean view more than venture into it.
